Your spiritual adventure begins the moment you arrive at Prayagraj Railway Station or Airport, where our friendly Yatra Sukh representative will be waiting to welcome you with a warm smile. We’ll get you settled into your comfortable hotel with plenty of time to freshen up and relax before the afternoon’s sacred experiences. Around 2:30 PM, get ready for something truly special—we’re heading to the Triveni Sangam, where three holy rivers meet in one of Hinduism’s most powerful confluences. You’ll take a peaceful boat ride right to the sangam point, and if you wish, you can take a holy dip believed to wash away lifetimes of karma. After this moving experience, we’ll visit the Bade Hanuman Ji Temple with its massive reclining Hanuman statue (it’s partially submerged and absolutely fascinating!), explore the impressive 16th-century Allahabad Fort with its ancient Ashoka Pillar, and tour Anand Bhawan Museum where you’ll walk through the rooms where India’s freedom movement took shape. By evening, you’ll return to your hotel for a delicious vegetarian dinner and a good night’s rest, with your heart already full of blessings.
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll check out and begin our scenic 135 km drive to Chitrakoot, the tranquil town where Lord Rama spent 11 and a half years during his exile. The 3-4 hour journey takes you through beautiful rural Uttar Pradesh, giving you a glimpse of authentic Indian village life. Once we arrive around midday, you’ll check into your hotel, enjoy lunch, and then we’ll head out to explore this deeply spiritual place. First stop is Ram Ghat on the banks of the Mandakini River—the very spot where saint Tulsidas had divine visions of Lord Rama! You can take a holy dip here if you’d like, and then we’ll walk to the base of sacred Kamadgiri Hill to prepare you mentally for tomorrow morning’s special parikrama ritual. We’ll also visit Bharat Milap Temple, marking the emotional reunion of Rama and his brother Bharat, and the serene Janaki Kund associated with Mata Sita. As the sun sets, you’ll witness the enchanting evening aarti at Ram Ghat with floating lamps dancing on the river while devotional songs fill the air. It’s pure magic
Today’s going to be an early start but trust us, it’s worth it! At 6 AM, we’ll begin the sacred Kamadgiri Parikrama—a 5 km barefoot walk around the holy hill while chanting “Jai Shri Ram.” This ancient ritual is believed to fulfill spiritual wishes and grant moksha, and you’ll feel the incredible devotion in the air as you walk alongside other pilgrims. After completing the parikrama (it takes about 1.5-2 hours), we’ll head back to the hotel for a well-deserved breakfast and a short rest. By mid-morning, you’ll be refreshed and ready to visit Hanuman Dhara, one of Chitrakoot’s most stunning sites! You can take the ropeway up (included in our Mid-Range and Luxury packages) or climb the 700 steps if you’re feeling adventurous. At the top, you’ll see the divine waterfall temple where spring water cascades over Lord Hanuman’s idol, believed to have cooled him after he burned Lanka. The panoramic valley views are absolutely breathtaking! We’ll also visit the peaceful Sati Anusuya Temple nestled in the forest. After lunch, get ready to explore the mysterious Gupt Godavari Caves where Lord Rama is said to have held his royal court—two caves connected by narrow underground passages with natural spring water flowing through them. You’ll also see Sphatik Shila, a crystal rock bearing the imprints of Rama and Sita, and the ancient Shri Kamta Nath Mandir. By evening, you can relax at the hotel or catch another optional aarti if you’d like.
Today we’re making our way to Ayodhya, and it’s the longest drive of the trip at about 270 km (6-7 hours), so we’ll start early at 6 AM after breakfast. Don’t worry though—our comfortable AC vehicle and experienced driver make the journey pleasant, and we’ll stop for a delicious vegetarian lunch at a good restaurant along the way. You’ll arrive in Ayodhya by early afternoon with plenty of time to check into your hotel and take a refreshing rest. Around 5 PM, once you’re recharged, we’ll head to Hanuman Garhi—an imposing fortress-like temple sitting atop 76 steps. The climb is totally manageable, and the reward at the top is incredible: 360-degree views of the entire holy city, especially beautiful at sunset! After soaking in those views, we’ll take a peaceful evening stroll along the sacred Saryu River and then position ourselves for the absolutely mesmerizing Saryu Aarti. Imagine hundreds of synchronized lamps glowing against the darkening sky while devotional singing echoes across the water—it’s one of those moments you’ll never forget.
This morning is going to be the highlight for many of you—darshan at the magnificent Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Lord Rama’s exact birthplace! We’ll start early after breakfast, and here’s an important heads-up: you’ll need to leave your mobile phones, cameras, leather items, and large bags at the hotel (security is strict here). The temple is absolutely stunning with its handcrafted marble architecture and golden adornments, and if you’ve chosen our Mid-Range or Luxury packages, we’ve arranged VIP darshan to make your experience smoother. After this powerful spiritual moment, we’ll continue exploring Ayodhya’s golden treasures—Kanak Bhawan with its gorgeous golden crown idols of Rama and Sita, Dashrath Bhawan palace, Sita Ki Rasoi (Mata Sita’s ancient kitchen), and the beautifully carved Nageshwarnath Temple. We’ll also visit Guptar Ghat where Lord Rama took jal samadhi, pay respects at Tulsi Smarak Bhawan, and enjoy the colorful Ramayana sculptures at Ram Katha Park. After lunch and check-out, we’ll begin our 200 km journey (about 4-5 hours) to Varanasi, the eternal city of Lord Shiva. You’ll arrive by evening, check in, have dinner, and get a good night’s sleep because tomorrow morning starts before sunrise!
Set your alarms because we’re waking up before dawn for something absolutely magical—a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges! At 5 AM, we’ll head to the ghats and board a traditional wooden boat just as the city is waking up. As the sun rises over the ancient city, you’ll float past Assi Ghat, the famous Dashashwamedh Ghat, the sacred Manikarnika cremation ground (where the eternal fires never stop burning), Panchganga Ghat, and the partially submerged temple at Scindia Ghat. You’ll see thousands of pilgrims performing their morning prayers and rituals along the riverbanks—it’s like stepping back centuries in time. After returning for breakfast, we’ll visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas with its stunning gold-plated domes (VIP darshan arranged for Mid-Range and Luxury guests). We’ll also explore Kaal Bhairav Temple dedicated to Shiva’s fierce protective form, Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple known for removing obstacles, and the vibrant red Durga Temple where monkeys playfully roam the premises. Post-lunch, we’ll drive 12 km to Sarnath, the place where Buddha gave his very first sermon after enlightenment. You’ll see the massive UNESCO World Heritage Dhamekha Stupa, visit the Sarnath Archaeological Museum housing the famous Ashoka Lion Capital (India’s national emblem!), and walk through peaceful international Buddhist temples with their meditation gardens. As evening approaches, we’ll return to Varanasi for the grand finale—the spectacular Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat! Seven priests perform synchronized fire rituals with massive brass lamps while Vedic chants, bells, and incense create an absolutely hypnotic atmosphere. You can float flower diyas on the river and, if time permits, visit Ramnagar Fort or shop for famous Banarasi silk.
Your final morning in Varanasi is relaxed—enjoy a leisurely breakfast and, if you’d like, we can visit the Tulsi Manas Temple where saint Tulsidas composed the beloved Ramcharitmanas (the walls are inscribed with verses from the epic). We’ll also do a quick drive-through of Banaras Hindu University’s beautiful campus and stop at the unique Bharat Mata Temple featuring a marble relief map of undivided India. By noon, we’ll check out and begin our return journey to Prayagraj—it’s just 120 km (about 3 hours) with a lunch stop at a nice highway restaurant. You’ll arrive back in Prayagraj by evening where we’ll drop you at the Railway Station or Airport, bringing your incredible 7-day spiritual circuit to a close. If your departure is late evening, we can arrange one final optional visit to Triveni Sangam at sunset (additional charges apply) so you can say goodbye to this sacred confluence. You’ll leave with your heart full of divine blessings, your camera roll full of memories (well, except from Ram Janmabhoomi!), and your soul deeply touched by India’s ancient spiritual traditions.
Journey ends—safe travels and Jai Shri Ram!
